Artist’s Blog #5

April 3rd

So, I’ve been subscribed to my friend’s channel ever since we met. Not just because she’s my friend. I figured she could use the subscribers, but also because she’s really good at what she does.

It’s almost a little intimidating how motivated and inspired she is. Sometimes, when we talk about what we want to do with our creations, she just gets this sparkle in her eyes and I can just see how much she believes in herself.

But, maybe that’s my problem. Every time I think about drawing again, I just start to worry I’ll mess it all up.

I brought this up with my friend, and she told me that she used to get like that too, until she realized that her work would always suck if it didn’t exist.

I don’t know, maybe it’s too obvious, but that just resonated with me in a way. I think it’s about time I actually tried to do some drawing.
